Overview:
Sterile Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SabDex) contact plate designed for the detection and enumeration of yeasts and molds on cleanroom and compounding surfaces where disinfectant residues are not present.
Packaged 10 plates per sleeve.

  • Medium: Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SabDex) – supports recovery of fungal contaminants such as yeasts and molds.

  • Neutralizers: None – for use on surfaces not recently disinfected.

  • Sterility: Non-irradiated; standard sterile packaging for cleanroom support areas.

  • Intended Use: Fungal surface monitoring in non-aseptic zones under USP <797>.

  • Plate Type & Size: 15 × 65 mm Lok-Tight™ contact plate with raised agar surface.

  • Storage: 2–8 °C; do not freeze.

  • Shelf Life: 6 months from manufacture (check label).

  • Packaging: 10 plates per sleeve (case of 100 available).

Sampling Procedure (3 Easy Steps):

  1. Remove lid.

  2. Gently press plate to surface without twisting or sliding.

  3. Twist clockwise until frosted bands align to lock lid in place.
